In The Pipeline

Welcome to the sometimes weekly (more like monthly) edition of In The Pipeline, where I list stuff I like on the internet and tell you what’s coming down the pipe at the Chino House.

I did my first ever Google Hangout this week with Jenna at Webjet. (Yay for figuring out how to do new things on the internet!)  We talked about Off Season Travel.  I really enjoyed doing this and hope to do more soon!  Maybe our next one will be about moving abroad!

Speaking of which, I have been getting all packed up this week and moving out of our house.  We’ve also been fingerprinted for our visas and we almost bought our tickets to Scotland, but we’re giving our visas a few more days to arrive.

It’s super exciting, but I’d be lying if I didn’t say that we’ve been up and down emotionally.  Translation: Pretty much everything makes me cry.

Like everything.

My sweet friends helping me pack.  People calling/texting to ask how they can pray.  My mama making dinner every night and letting the kids sleep over.  Seeing pictures on Instagram of my big kids on a mission trip.  Counting down how many Sundays I have left with our precious faith community.

This Sunday will be my husband’s last time to preach, and we’re having a farewell service that evening.  I can’t even think about it without crying.  If you’re in the area, consider yourself invited.  But maybe bring some Kleenex.  For me.

Also Sarabeth posted about a camping trip we went on with our babies about one million years ago in 2005.  (More tears.)
