In The Pipeline

This ancient bridge crosses over the River Don, on the north side of Aberdeen. It’s called the Brig O Balgownie, and it’s over 800 years old. We walked there on a rare sunny afternoon while we have been out of school.

One of the greatest treats about traveling with 19 other bloggers in Ireland has turned out to be all the wonderful content they have created about our trip. You know how at the end of a cruise or a week at camp, you can buy a highlight cd of your time there. It’s like that, only WAY better. I’m still trying to keep up with all of it on my Pinterest board, but here’s a video that Backpacker Steve released this week of the Wild Atlantic Way. He used a song that we actually got to hear live from a local musician on our trip. Super fun!

Interesting to me that on this list of friendliest cities in the world, both Ireland and The Deep South in the US have three cities listed. And unfriendly cities are listed as well.

Breaking my heart and making me smile at the same time.

Before I left Arkansas, a dear friend gave me some music that I’ve had on constant repeat lately. Whenever, this particular song comes on, I stop what I’m doing and just close my eyes and pray the words. So, so good.
