Hello friends. How’s your week been?
Good news!
We are over HALF WAY THROUGH JANUARY!!
I might be relentlessly checking the sunrise/sunset schedule in Aberdeen in great anticipation of longer days.
But that’s ok. In just a few weeks, I’ll be in Cape Verde where I’ll be soaking up over 11 hours a day of sunlight. Yes please! I’m heading there with First Choice Holidays as part of a project that is overflowing from 2014.
Until then, lots of reading in the dark. (I’m LOVING this book right now.)

Reflections from a week on a Scottish island where everyone gets around on foot or by bike.
This week I participated in National Letter Writing week. (So much fun!) I received daily emails from Alexander Franzen with ideas for letters to write, and she ended the week with the idea of sending yourself a letter in the future which you can do through FutureMe. Very cool. Also, each email ended with a link to a fun song + video. This one was my favorite. SO HAPPY!
I’ve watched this video about fifty times. It’s from when I sang in the choir last month with all my friends back home. My brother is standing right next to me. Oh my heart I love this moment.
And while we’re talking about YouTube, can we please all watch 5 Things Guys Should Stop Doing to Girls. Oh, and its counterpart of course.
