I suspect that’s because my lovely friend Elodie is from there, and I’m still dreaming about the incredible luncheon of prawns she made for me and for her sister, and I could listen for hours to her sister speak with this beautiful French accent. So I have it in my head that Mauritius is filled with beautiful people, food, and accents. Have so much fun and warmth. =)
