I have no idea what it meant or why someone left their shoes. But I’ve seen several other shoes left along the way. Maybe because folks are tired of their boots?

We talk about all those things. I’ve intentionally not shared conversations I’ve had with fellow pilgrims to honor their privacy but yes, we talk about why you’re walking, what your life looks like at home, changes you’re going through, etc. Some people are eager to share and talk about what’s going on in their lives and others are more held back. Everything belongs. 😉
