On our way home this summer, three of the kids and I were camping at Aldenham Country Park for Blogstock, a blogging festival.

The kids discovered that Winnie the Pooh’s home was just behind the field where we were staying, and they could not wait to show me.

So we wandered off one evening into the 100 Acre  Wood.

Or 100 Aker Wood?

We found our way to Owl’s Tree house and Eeyore’s house. There was even a bridge for playing Pooh Sticks.

And after we re-discovered the North Pole, we walked to Rabbit’s House.

I guess everyone was tired from the trip to the North Pole.

The whole park was really precious and it was good to get a walk in after a day of blogging sessions.

Actually there is more than one Pooh Corner in England, even one with a tea room. Maybe we’ll happen upon it next time.

Where have you been walking lately?

Here are a few more walks from our group:

Ines walked a hard mountain this summer, both literally and figuratively.

Stacey walked in Kenya. (Part 1 and 2)

And Ellen is walking in the Pacific Northwest this summer.
