Happy Friday! I hope you’ve had a great week.
I had coffee with strangers no less than THREE TIMES this week. Y’all, that is a really lot of getting out of the house and chitty chatting for this introvert. I feel certain I will make up for it by not meeting anyone new for a while.
Except for next week when I fly to London to meet a team of folks I’m going to get to work with some this year! WHAT? I know, I’m totally shocked myself.
But don’t you worry, while I am there, I will totally go for a walk.

Compassion International is my favorite charity and they will be telling stories from Uganda next week, so I plan to follow along. In 2014, they have already addressed Child Trafficking and Child Marriage.
I fell into a rabbit hole yesterday and did not come up until I had finished this wonderful novel. If you don’t have plans for the weekend, UM, YOU’RE WELCOME!

PS The above photo is a close up of the wall that you walk by when you emerge from the train station in Edinburgh. In forty years, I will still remember the feeling of walking up from the train station along this wall and seeing the gorgeous capital of Scotland.

Congrats on the First Choice blogger! Compassion Int’l is one of my favorite charities too.
Regarding the Facebook advertising, I just read that FB is like an epidemic that will probably die out in a few years. Most young people 18-24 don’t even use it anymore. I recently went through and cleaned out my FB so I only see REAL people that I know instead of news sources. So maybe the trend is moving toward using twitter.
