In The Pipeline

Happy Friday!

My mama is here in Scotland this month! It’s SUCH a joy to have her here and we are soaking up all the spring sunshine, going for lots of walks. And drinking lots of tea, of course.

In The Pipeline

This weekend we’re off on a little train journey to stay in some lovely youth hostels in Berwick-upon-Tweed and York! Ben and Simon are along with us!

While we’re gone you can always follow along on Instagram and Twitter, I’ll be back in this space soon with loads to share, in particular, lots more Amsterdam love!

In the meantime, here are a few links (and a few more photos of us with my MAMA!)

LINKS!

LOVE this idea for a DIY writer’s retreat.

I want to see this film. (I just really love Juliette Binoche!)

So tech-savvy at 60 that you’re selling a company for 1.5 billion. YES! You go, girl.

What a great idea!

Made me laugh.

I’ve been writing about June Carter Cash for a project and I found this video of her and Johnny that I’ve had on repeat. LOVE. Also this.

I can admit to being one of many girls who wanted to one day marry Gilbert Blythe.

Oh Paris.

This whisky tour will be happening this summer.

Also, ten great walks in Scotland. (I want to do them all!)

That’s it for me. Happy Weekend, Friends!

XO

Alison

  1. Have a grand time with your mama! Mine will be here in a couple of weeks, after she tours the heck out of France with a friend.

I’m in Berwick all the time, and my favorite natural foods grocery is across the street from the hostel. If I bump into you, I’ll request your autograph. >;-D Have fun!

  2. P.S. The Corner House Café is great and has a roaring fire (you’ll need it this weekend!), although the hostel itself has a pleasant eatery too. There’s also a fab little art gallery in the hostel building, but you probably already know that!

    1. So fun that you’re so close to Berwick. I LOVE it. Would LOVE to meet you sometime. Next time I go south we should totally meet in front of that roaring fire. I think that hostel is DARLING. 🙂 XOXO

      1. It’s a plan, Stan! We can fortify with cake, then walk Spittal Beach collecting sea glass!

  3. You and Mama have an awesome month:) I’ll be tuning in:) xoxoxo

    1. You’re a LOVIE! I know you know how wonderful it is to have your family around! XO
