Cowboy Boots!

This spring I had the amazing privilege of attending Bean 2 Blog.  I also got to pick out a pair of women’s cowboy boots from Country Outfitter.

I could not believe that we were getting boots for our farm tour and I was a little overwhelmed by the whole process, so I asked my fashion guru and friend Whitney for a little help.

This is pair she chose for me.  They are Ariat Legends.

And friends, I love them a lot.

In fact, I had so much fun wearing my boots all day at Moss Mountain Farm that I have worn them almost every day since then.  They were comfortable from the get go.  No break-in needed.  I’ve always thought of cowboy boots as really stiff and uncomfortable, but I’m totally converted to these.

They are cute with almost anything.

Since I am enjoying my boots so much, I decided to ask Whitney if she was up for a fun Boot Shoot!

She was totally game so she came over and picked out several outfits for me to wear with my new boots.

We even got Mary Polly in on the action.

Whitney is one of the most creative photographers I know and I have experienced again and again the fun it is to just hop along for the ride and trust her eye.  She is amazing both with clothes and pictures. We’ve collaborated on other great shoots and I’m sure will do many more together.

She chose a great spot and all different outfits, so I’m super excited to share all the fun with you this week!

Just to be clear, I was freely blessed with these boots from Country Outfitters, but opinions are my own.
